our
Mission and vision
“To be a relevant multicultural church, which preaches and lives a true gospel in the communities where it is inserted”
As a Christian community our purpose is to be an international church, which is ready to receive, care for and equip all people in our community, regardless of the country they were born in.
We intend to fulfill our mission by preaching and living a true gospel, a gospel of daily practice.
Our mission is to reach people of all race, languages and nations, which are embedded in our community.
Baptism by immersion We practice baptism by immersion in water as Jesus was baptized. After accepting Jesus as our Savior, we believe that baptism in water is an important step as a proclamation of faith. Colossians 2:12
Worship We were created to worship God, the one who created us. Worship is a lifestyle of how we live our lives, to accept who God is, and his love for us. One of the expressions of worship is to sing and speak words of worship and reverence to Him. Mark 12:29-31, Colossians 3:16, Psalm 29:2Life Guided by the Holy Spirit We believe that the only possible way to live the full Christian life is by the power of God within us. By obedience to the Word of God and being guided daily by the Holy Spirit, every Christian must grow and mature in the image of Christ. For this reason, we seek to live a life of daily dependence of the Holy Spirit so that we may obey, do what is right in his eyes and fulfill our purpose here on Earth. Ephesians 5:18, John 14:16, John 14:26
Holy Supper We practice the Holy Supper as an act of obedience and to remember what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. Luke 22:19
Giving back to God We practice tithing, first, as an act of obedience, second to support the growth and development of the Kingdom of God here on Earth. We acknowledge that giving 10% of our financial income is biblical. We acknowledge that Jesus taught much about money while He was on earth and declared a profound truth when He said, “for where is your treasure, there will be your heart too.” Matthew 6:21, Malachi 3:10, Luke 6.38
Every Christian is a servant Every Christian is called to serve. Serving is a humble attitude that pleases God. We are called to serve God and our brethren. Whoever serves is concerned with doing good to others, leaving aside selfishness. When everyone serves one another, the church grows and strengthens. Serving is an act of love and can also be a gift. God gives gifts to every person, gifts that are to be used in the service of the kingdom, the Church and of our brethren in Christ. Each person can serve in different areas, both inside and outside the church. Matthew 23:11, Mark 10:42-45
Speaking of Jesus
Jesus left for each of his followers, a calling, to bring the good news to all those who have not yet met his love.
We believe that it is the responsibility of each Christian to share with others what Jesus did in their lives, to share with others that the love of Jesus is available to those who want to accept it. We must as Christians develop relationships so that we can share this good news and lead these people who do not know Christ to become part of the body of Christ, the Church.
Mark 16:15, Acts 13:47
A simple and true gospel
Gospel means “good news”. The Gospel is the good news of salvation in Jesus. He died and rose to save us from our sins. For anyone who believes in Jesus will not be condemned but have eternal life!
As a Christian community we pledge to present a simple and true gospel, a gospel that brings transformation into the lives of those who accept to live according to it.
Compassion for others
Jesus felt compassion for all those who were going through some kind of suffering. As Christians we follow Jesus' example, we have compassion for all those who suffer some kind of suffering, whether physical, emotional or spiritual.
Matthew 9:35-36
Truth
God abhors lies and therefore does not support the presence of liars. The enemy of God is described in the Bible as the father of lies.
We also know that Jesus described himself as being the truth. We also know that it is possible to be truly free through knowledge of the truth.
The people of God must be known as a people who live in truth and for truth. Therefore, we must flee from lies and do not condone with the liars.
Ephesians 4:25, Proverbs 12:22
Do with Excellence
Excellence is to accomplish something beyond expectations. When we perform our activities with excellence, whether in our professional life, personal or in our spiritual life we reveal a good testimony that points to God.
Colossians 3:23, Titus 2:7, 1 Corinthians 15:58
Justice and social consciousness
The Gospel’s accounts show that Jesus understood well the difficult life that the poor and the needy took and was very sensitive to their needs.
We live in a world of social imbalances and the use of the fragilities of the needy. As Christians we believe that we should be together in the way we deal with those around us, whether at work, in business, or simply when someone asks for help.
We cannot be conniving to injustice, we need to set an example and defend social, economic justice and freedom.
We believe that it is part of an approved Christian character, to be honest and not to take advantage of the needs of the weak.
Deuteronomy 16:20, Jeremiah 22:3, Proverbs 31:9
“To reach and influence all people of the community through healthy relationships and the teaching of the true gospel, building a church in which Christ is the center, teaching, equiping and empowering Christians to lead and impact on the various spheres of influence of society.”
Church is not four walls, church is a set of people who believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to come to God, through the repentance of their sins and by faith in Jesus Christ.
As a church we believe that we need to teach and practice the true Gospel. The most efficient way is to develop healthy relationships so that we can earn more lives for Christ, so then to teach, equip and empower Christians to lead and impact in the various areas of influence in society. If we do not relate to those who do not yet know Christ, we are not fulfilling our purpose of “go and preach the gospel, the good news.”
